Perineal Massage

Performing perineal massage throughout pregnancy is important in reducing the risk of vaginal tearing. The perineum is the skin between the vaginal opening an anus, it is important for this area to be pliable and stretch while delivering the baby. I recommend performing this exercise throughout your entire pregnancy, but around 34 weeks it is important to perform regularly for 5-10 min about 2-3 times per week.
