Cupping
A modality I use, when necessary, to improve blood flow and tissue pliability.
Cupping
So, what does cupping therapy do? It can help reduce pain, improve blood and lymphatic flow, and facilitate the body’s natural healing process.
Cupping therapy works great in conjunction with movement. I perform both light soft tissue massage following the cupping treatment and then move on to perform some active movements.
There are a lot of techniques that can be used during cupping therapy, but the specific technique I choose for the treatment session will be the one that is most beneficial for you. The suction cups can be applied in one spot and left in place, can be applied and slid across a larger area, or be paired with an instructed movement.

I also have found cupping therapy to be very beneficial to c-section scars or helping with general scar mobility, as well as fascia or muscle tissue that feels like it lacks mobility.
